Set up Shopify shipping rates

The shipping amount your customer pays in Shopify is separate from Roastify's fulfillment shipping charge. Offering free shipping does not waive the Roastify cost.

Check the profile

1. In Shopify, open Settings > Shipping and delivery.
2. Open the shipping profile containing the affected Roastify products.
3. Confirm its products and variants, and that Roastify is included as their fulfillment location.
4. Check the location's destination zones and rates. The customer's destination and cart must qualify for a rate.
5. Save and review checkout again.

Avoid gaps in rates

Cover the order sizes and destinations you intend to accept. If you use weight-based rules, check the actual product and package weights; an additional pound is different from an additional item.

For mixed carts, check how other suppliers' profiles combine with your coffee rates. Preserve their settings when fixing the Roastify profile.

Check before launch

Review checkout for one coffee, several coffees, a mixed cart if relevant, and your free-shipping threshold. You can inspect rates without submitting payment. A paid order can trigger production.

Production and shipping transit are separate. Naming a rate “express” does not create an expedited Roastify service. Confirm supported destinations and services before advertising them.

If rates remain unavailable, send support the product URL, destination region, error, and screenshots of the profile's products, locations, zones, and rates.
