Understanding Order Types
Roastify handles several types of orders depending on how you sell:

Dropship vs Wholesale
Dropship Orders are created automatically when customers buy from your Shopify store, hosted store, or via API. Roastify fulfills these directly to your customers - you never touch the product.
Wholesale Orders are placed by you directly in the Merchant App. You pay wholesale pricing and products ship to your address. Great for:
- Local sales (farmers markets, pop-ups)
- Building inventory
- Product photography
- Sampling before selling
First time ordering? Start with samples to taste the coffee and see your packaging in person before committing to larger wholesale orders.

Fulfillment time is from when the order is placed to when it ships. Actual delivery depends on shipping method and destination.
